Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Sometimes, those who love us the most, hurt us the most.

Lions in Sheep Clothing

by Austin Yu

Deadly toxin jolts my body, cast by a dark sword of treachery.

The deadly tonic snakes into my veins, releasing the venom ubiquitously

The knife pierces my tender soul and ignites my trust into shards of sable char

My faith now led astray, and my heart wounded by lost reliance.

Silver chains once knotted our hearts as one, now rust in despair

And rips my heart into fragments,

symptoms of betrayal.
