Tracking the Apache.
How blue is your sky
by Ben Colder
The blue cloudy sky reflected off the surface of a small body of water as a lone rider dismounted his horse and led the animal to drink.
With caution, he examined the terrain for signs of trouble before allowing the horse to indulge.
On the opposite side of the pool lay several skeletons of animals, someone had poisoned the water.
Turning the horse southward and walking the animal near to a shady area, he knew the Apache has been there.
