A Thanksgiving poem about what I am thankful for.

Thankful For Jesus

You are always there
Even though we may not see.
I am thankful for you, Jesus
For the grace that you show to me.
 
I'm not always the best person at times
That I should always be.
And yet, each day you show mercy and grace
You continue to love and bless me.
 
You blessed us with good friends
And a wonderful church family.
I am so very blessed and thankful, Jesus
For what you have given to me.
 
It is especially on this day
That I say these words with a humble heart, and I realize.
Thank you Jesus for all that you do
And for always blessing our lives.

I wrote this poem for Thanksgiving, because I am very thankful, and grateful for what Jesus has done for me and my husband. I shared this with my church for our Thanksgiving gathering, and they really liked it.
