Walk with me

As I walk up the path

On a nearby hill,

Lined with flowers

Like the daffodil

Many of the flowers,

I can't name

But they are all beautiful

Just the same.

The flowered path winds

Around a large oak tree.

The fragrance of the flowers

Seems to follow me.

The path leads

To an old windmill

It's pumped water for years

And it pumps still.

The windmill turns

As the wind blows,

Water under a bridge,

Flows and flows.

A cool, soft wind

Blows across the hill,

Carrying the aroma

Of the daffodil.

It's a beautiful sight,

You'll want to see

Come on along,
