As I sit here in a quiet peace, I think about all the goings on in the world at the moment and give Thanks for where I live and for my peaceful fulfilled life style.

My thoughts go out to all those who are in war torn countries, fighting just to stay alive. May peace soon prevail.

I thought this Rondelet was a way of expressing my gratitude for living in a peaceful country surrounded by love.
I found the image (on google images) after writing the poem but I love the simple words so Thanks Google also

A Rondelet is a seven lined poem with rhyme scheme AbAabbA
the 1st, 3rd and 7th line are all the same and are 4 syllables
line 2, 4, 5 and 6 are all 8 syllables
