When Nature calls?
How will you respond?
Only a few hours ago on this day.
If I do may?
I made contact with Asian hornet nest.
Now don't get me wrong.
These are fantastic and beautiful creatures but they are of course vicious when disturbed.
...
Of all places to come across something like this.
A cheap motel.
And, attached on the corner wall right next to a fire extinguisher!
...
Note: Like all small insects that are social.
They work very well together in and out some flying off together.
Others staying with the nest to do their particular jobs.
...
When I first approached it to learn more and without fear, I place my hand gently at the exit area.
I also did a quick 30 second video with a cell phone.
It's when I came back the second time and got a little more curious.
A worker hornet was on the outside shell of the hornets nest attending business.
Perhaps repairing something?

When I made an attempt to touch it and make friends that's when it attacked me!

When you're playing with nature, realize that you could be a target!

I am by no means allergic to any insect bites stinging or non-stinging.
Final Warning!!
I had a minor sting and yes it swelled tremendously and it did and was irritable and painful.
