A perfect day and we were free! We raced down the country road to Higgins Pond, screaming, “School’s out!” We ignored the “No Swimming” sign.
Now we were running again sans clothes into the woods.
“Who saw us?” I yelled at Red.
“Girls! They’ve got our clothes and a camera.”
