Makes you think sometimes...

Ten Seconds at a Time

The original saying,
"Take it one day at a time"
doesn't always apply
when you're living a lie.
One day it's this and another it's that.
It's a terrible trait,
that can pull you in like bait.
Sit down.
Ask yourself "Why?".
Trying to remember what you said,
because your thoughts have been dead.
After several years
you might end up in tears.
But for now,
just take it ten seconds at a time.
It'll all be fine.
Everything is fine.
