Better late than never, right?
It took me 25 years to make the decision. The crazy thing is SHE (first friend and neighbour then boss) needed me more than I needed her.
I would do endless errand out of working hours.. for free
I even worked for 5 years gratis. (two/three hours five days a week). She owes me 15.000 euros. ( USA $16.000 )
She considered me a maid, not a friend. I 'm to blame more than her because I allowed her to use me.
If I can help out why not? but I should have drawn a line.
Be of help, yes but when I noticed she was taking advantage, I should have confronted her. If I showed no esteem for myself , why should she have?
anyways, finally, I grew some balls.
She ticks several boxes above.
