Another Day Without My Medication

It's Burp without the B

by bob cullen

My name is very simple, it's burp without the B
I'm the local Sheriff, in truth I'm the Deputee
My job is to uphold the law in this town out west
I am a real tough 'ombre, my Mum says I'm the best

My horse called Rockin', is tied up to the hitching rail
Checkin' out the fillies, thinks he's still a red hot male
Forgets the operation, he had some things took out
When he was just a youngun' still makes him curse 'n shout

Urp thinks he's a cowboy, the upholder of the law
His town is Dodge City, there are gunmen by the score
He ain't afraid of no one, he's real fast on the draw
Mumma rides with him saying, "I've seen your like before."

Don't mix me with that other guy, his name was Wyatt Earp
He was fast on the draw but most considered him a twerp.
Didn't always practice law judged on what people see
But what he said was simpler, I'm burp without the B

The Wild West was in safe hands when men ruled things his way
He was a good man who enforced the rules of the day
Maintained that ev'ry town needed laws and harmony
My name is very simple, it's burp without the B
