This work has reached the exceptional level

Thank You Memories

My old, old house is dear to me,
it has been my home for fifty years.
It has been my comfort through that time,
when I'm beset with doubts and fears.
 
It is in need of much repairs,
that can be done after I'm gone.
I'll stay until my final days,
where heart and memories belong.
 
This is where I shall always stay,
stay close to things that are long past.
The things most precious in my life,
will linger on until the last.
 
Let me stay here til life is done-
In this old house I feel I've won.
