Competition entry
Letter to the writer within

Hey Writer Within.
I know it's been a while since we talked, and that things didn't end well last time. Words were exchanged, and I might have said some things I didn't mean. You didn't have to go silent, though. That was really rather cruel.
Anyway, I'm writing now because I suspect it was you who helped me out during the writing course. If so- thanks. Also, I've been thinking about last time, and I've taken to heart what you told me- that I was too young and naive. But now my hair is thinning, I'm single again, and I think I might actually have some material we can use. So if you're still in there, and if you'd like to try again, then please get in touch.
