Travelin' Rosie

Disheveled bow falls in her face,

a sticky smile, a warm embrace,

her tott'ring legs can't stand alone,

sweet Rosalie begins to roam.

She rolls around upon her mat

determined to reach this or that,

her current faves, a toy and book

she barely gives a second look.

Her aim, her goal, her mama's feet,

those wiggly toes just can't be beat.

Then, daddy's hairy legs draw near

and... whoosh, she's up... her laugh rings clear.
