Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
Pages from her diary

Youngest family member

by persevere

My senses of smell and perception
My hearing I hardly need mention
A collie am I
All can espy
But planets and stars are exception

Substitution with story time
For children may be considered fine
Sitting still is foreign to me
Active and agile I would rather be

The alpha male is he
In control of me
Unleashed I walk at heel
Level crossings no big deal

Today I am resigned
To be the lazy kind
I must confide
It is cold outside

An outing for all three of us
She on a scooter, no need for a bus
While shopping done I remained in the seat
Of the mobility aid, a regular feat

Put Your Best Paw Forward contest entry

Those were diary entries some years ago. In a diary today she would write
I wish they would understand
It takes me time to stand
But once up, I am keen
To follow the old routine
