I've been walkin around
with my head hanging down
So I can see exactly where
I'm supposed to be walkin

 

I'm not seeing so good
like a pair of eyes should
Seems my left eye is swollen
almost completely shut

 

Took scissors to my hair
ends flying everywhere
Took a few hours before
I noticed and felt the eye pain

 

Apparently those little ends
flew and stuck where eye lid bends
falling in eyes like stardust
All night, was a finger in my eye

 

I ventured outside to walk
My head's still down when I talk
Trying desparately to ignore
the steady stream of salty tears

 

Crying from the outside corner
Tears freeze, wish it was warmer
Best be putting on the shades
'cause heaven's dumpin snow again
