Thick lace curtains gracefully fall and shade the light
on windows tall
Inside where lamps they glow curtains are drawn as shadows grow
and in the morning the curtains keep bright light out as families sleep
during siesta we take our breaks and happily we close the drapes
They provide a sort of veil that allows the moonlight pale
we live our lives In privacy while thick lace curtains fall gracefully
