my latest political haiku. and a comment. It is interesting that the right wing took a book, "the Deep State" and completely misinterpreted it in looking at President Trump's time in office. the Deep state according to the book is the whole military-industrial intelligence community including senior government officials who are a permanent governing class - political leaders come and go but the Deep state abides.
as a member of the deep state, I would agree that most of us hated Trump, but resistance was mostly just waiting him out knowing that he would soon be gone rather than an active conspiracy to take him out.
