Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Free verse

Unmindful Moon

Silence echoed through empty street
Bare trees stood mute
not even a gentle breeze stirred
owls too stayed quiet.

But the moon alone unmindful
of my sorrow
played hide and seek with floating clouds
bright and cheerful.

For once I wished for a dark sky
moonless and starless
to leave me alone to let my
tears flow unseen.
