Proof Is All Around Me

Belief in a Living God is natural for me
It is based on what I feel, live and see
I’m not qualified to preach, per se,
But I will witness my beliefs any day -
I am just a man of Faith who bows to He.

Animals and peoples all over the world
Look similar. Reflects His plans unfurled:
Two eyes, two ears, middle nose
Just looks like a plan, who knows?
Matching legs, arms, born a boy or girl.

Animals show love, just like we do
To mate, and care for the young, too.
Similar sex, but note God’s love
Is shown too, come’s from above
These congruent lines; more than a few.

How about stars and planets far in sky
All on their own orbits as they fly by.
Errant asteroids flavor some nights
But, all orbits seem planned flights
In the millions through space, oh my!

With the natural and truth it brings,
My Faith is based on things unseen
That Peace which comes to me
No matter the sorrows I do see
Faith and Hope from His words, I glean!

Inspire belief in the living God contest entry

Heaven knows this old scoundrel ain't no preacher! But, I cannot look at a new baby, a morning sun, a group of people doing good things or just having fun... I cannot walk a shore, or climb a hill or hear laughter and not know that a hand with a plan created us. You will seldom find me in church, but daily in prayer. Thanks for this opportunity to share my Faith.
