A Magical Place

Carytown

by Boogienights

The houses in the town are all alight,
the skaters in the park glide by with ease.
The lighthouse on the cliff is glowing bright,
and shops in town hold goods quite sure to please.

The dancers in the ballroom twirl around,
the lights of the casino blazing bright.
Most everywhere snow covers up the ground,
and citizens stroll through the town at night.

New roads soon, will be put in place,
a brand new church now sits up on a rise.
With Christmas near, the shoppers then must race,
this time of year moves quickly, no surprise.

It's halfway through November but it's there,
desperately hoping that my cat won't pillage.
Destroying all this work would not be fair,
if furry paws wreck my Christmas Village.
