Mountains move

by royowen

If faith can move the mountain peaks,
and yearning hearts the truth still seeks,
The Spirit moves the pen and lips,
and from truth's cup the seeker sips.

For only God the dead can raise,
and only God our mouth should praise.
For only He can grant me breath,
and only He brings life from death.

As once I knew not who gave life,
whose will kept me - stilled death's sharp knife.
I have few words of gratitude,
just humble thanks for life imbued.

There is a veil of sin that blinds,
but he who seeks the truth still finds.
For God sees all outside that veil,
what we'll become beyond travail.

Recognized

I often wondered God revealed Himself to me, I had done nothing to reveal anything in my mind why He should, He see the potential, not what we are, and I was the worst, but He sees beyond the human eye.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me awith all your heart.

Isaiah 55:6
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near.
