Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
A comfortable feeling

Under my tin roof

by Willie P. Smith

I fondly remember,
When I was a kid
Listening to the rain
While in my featherbed.

With Lightning flashING,
AndThunder rolling
Me, Relaxing in bed,
With fireplace roaring

As the rain fell,
I felt proof
That all was well
Under my tin roof.

Tree limbs blowing
Against my window.
Rain drops falling,
In perfect Tempo.

A strong wind,
Blows through the trees,
Then settles to a soft
And gentle breeze.

The rain stops falling,
Giving further proof,
That all is well
Under my tin roof.

Better, more relaxing sleep-in rain, lightning and thunder. Great under a tin roof.
