Driveway Parking

A garage is made for parking
your car, so it's safe inside.
But mine is full of all the junk,
I've been trying hard to hide.

Like exercise equipment,
barely used, it's just like new.
Amazing things from sales,
are collecting dust there too.

Newspapers saved throughout the years,
magazines with recipes 
I'm certain I will never make,
'cause a chef I'll never be.

There's boxes with contents unknown,
there are cobwebs everywhere.
A testimony to the fact,
that I never go out there.

It's such a mess, it overwhelms,
I can't take it anymore.
But out of sight is out of mind,
so I just shut the door.

Now driveway parking is for me,
in the winter it's a pain.
Much easier than cleaning though,
my garage drives me insane.
