A Hoop and a Hula

Before my eyes my belly grew
grew by chocolate-y ways and means
means I grew an enemy
enemy of skinny jeans!

Jeans will soon un-friend the pounds
pounds that met with exercise
exercise with hula moves
moves that cut me down to size.

Size has lessened as I hooped
hooped that loop-the-loop around
around the time I also learned
learned to keep it off the ground!
