This work has reached the exceptional level
How have you experienced...

Restlessness

The leaves on the trees
in a mountain breeze.

The ebb and flow
of oceans in motion.

Anticipation of horses
at the starting gate...

are like children in bed
on Christmas Eve...

or on a roadtrip asking
"Are we there yet?"

Students wondering
if they passed or failed.

Parents of daughters
on a prom date.

Grooms at church
awaiting their brides.

Expectant parents.
Will ours be a he or she?

Pacing fathers-to-be
in maternity wards.

Grandparents wondering
will they look like me?

Life's uncertainties cause
Restlessness.

Write a poem of any style describing things that make you nervous.


Kicking the covers throughout the night, remembering things that caused me fright, it was time to rise and shine and write, write, write, a short piece on things that made me RESTLESS.
After verse three, you'll see a progression of life for me and my family.
