My Favorite Things

Cats, colorful birds, puppies that are yellow;
Peach cobbler, some pies, and raspberry jello,
Enjoying all the beauties that each day brings;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Lovely rainbows, sunsets; freshly cut roses;
Watching the kids run through water from hoses,
Hearing all the beautiful songs each child sings;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Listening to songs that some people will play;
Hearing all the cute things the children will say,
Lovely paintings and drawings; beautiful rings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the kids cry; when the bee stings;
And I don't know why,
I simply remember my favorite things
And eat my favorite pie.
