Spiders, Children, and Shadows

by pookietoo

There is a spider, spider on the wall.
Black widows -- the deadliest of them all.
They build a web, and they're black as a bat.
My husband can't stand them, imagine that!

Kids love to run through water from a hose.
They are sometimes seen with holes in their clothes.
Some outdoor games the children love to play.
With their friends they will play outside all day.

Our shadows seen on the sidewalk so clear.
I know they're something that some people fear.
They're dark and can never be seen at night,
But they can be seen in broad daylight.

Some spiders are found in houses I know.
There's five types of webs spiders will grow.
Some spiders dwell beneath rocks on the ground.
There's several types of spiders around.
