I wonder the outcome, if soon, one by one
The Rhinos in Congress said, “Phooey, I’m done.
Got beau coups of money; I want to retire;
Salary, benefits—they won’t expire.
 
Then later, the Radical Left hit the road,
Taking with them the entire motherload
Of Socialist BS –how lucky are we!
They willingly left us the land of the free.
 
The Dems who remained, soon admitted that they,
Weren’t keen to reject the American way;
And they understood, all the ones who were left,
Why good, honest people were feeling bereft;
 
Understandably so, for their country, once great,
Had met, due to Biden, a horrible fate. So,
Both sides got together and worked out a plan
To bring us back from “Wrong-at-Every-Turn-Land.”

And Manchin and Sinema, fair-minded souls,
Were glad they’d been true to their fair-minded roles;
And just as America’s forefathers planned,
Both sides worked together… yep, that would be grand.
 
But the shame of it is, that it IS fantasy
When American citizens look anxiously
To the very people whom they voted for
To do what is best for this country before
It’s too late.
