True Story Flash contest entry
While Shopping

Yesterday, I was shopping at the grocery store and was
appalled at the prices of everything. While walking around,
I came upon the manager in an aisle, changing price tags. In
a jokingly, angry voice, I blurted out, "Are you the one I
need to talk to about bringing these stupid prices down?"
He answered, "No, that guy's in the White House."
"Well, I'm going to give him a call and he's not gonna
like how that conversation goes."
I laughed all the way to the checkout line when he replied,
"I doubt if he'll even be able to understand."
