Oh! Banana, I peel you back
And get you ready for my snack.
Your sweet taste beckons me,
I pull you down from your tree.

Another banana from your bunch,
I'll take home and have for lunch.
Thank you for your gifts to me,
You beautiful and bountiful banana tree.
