Plymouth Rock at Plymouth Hah-bah is a favorite place

Rock Solid Logic

by Reese Turner

Plymouth Rock’s Ranger knew all the Pilgrim lore
So, when I asked “Where was this rock originally?”
He got upset, “This spot, sir, see 1620 chiseled
Upon it, where the Pilgrims landed!” he barked at me.

“Why would you ask such a silly question about
Our rock? It was here then, it’s still here right now!”
I replied, “Well, those global warming experts say
The ocean’s rising, but the rock’s still dry somehow.”

“I figure y’all must have drug it in from further out
Where rising seas had covered it since 1620 year…”
So, somebody should tell AOC and that Norwegian girl,
Ranger said, “We don’t get much global warming here!”

Since my wife is from Plymouth, we visit there almost every summah. We pak the cah between Plymouth Rock and a favorite pub down the street where we enjoy be-ah and steamahs. Great corner of America. I always recommend a visit.
