A Summer's Rose

The sultry sighs of summer wind
Whisper songs from far away;
To beckon love, "Come hither near."
Where love blooms every lengthened day.

Within the blossoms of a rose,
A vision glows within each vein,
In feminine beseeching calls,
To those whose heart is tightly reined.

She softly glows in morning dew.
Bequeathing nature's finest quest;
To saturate in fragrance sweet,
Unfolding beauty in each crest.

Her silken fibrous mellow flow,
Beseeches touch of tender kiss,
Inhale, exhale joy divine,
Enjoy dawn's overwhelming bliss.

When summer's zeal has burned like fire,
Ambitions of the sensual seed,
Renewal forms in petals molten,
To satisfy man's natural need.
