They are sacred books

The Scriptures

I love reading all of the holy scriptures.
And learning about all the prophets of old
Moroni appeared to the young Joseph Smith,
Instructed him when to get the plates of gold.

These sacred books testify of Jesus Christ.
He willingly suffered, died for me and you.
If we ask our Father with love in our heart,
We will surely find out the scriptures are true.

In the scriptures we learn about many things --
Hope, gratitude, repentance, charity too.
Being able to forgive and be humble
Are a few other things we are taught to do.

The Bible - we learn about spiritual gifts
We learn that Jesus, our Savior is our light.
We should try hard to follow his example
And read these sacred books every day and night.
