The Angel that watches over us.

Angel From Eternity

While the world withers away
I don’t wish upon a star
I have Hope and I believe
in Love’s caress from afar.
 
There are wings shielding my back
with lips caressing my soul.
An angel has me on hold
when Love’s in charge I am whole.
 
Stranger things happen, you see,
if life’s just a normal spree.
You’ll find this story unveils,
true feelings in you and me.
 
It’s a day like any day,
the sun danced no clouds on high.
The birds singing in the trees
while butterflies paint the sky.
 
Suddenly, a path appeared,
the darkened pathway of sins.
My spirit stopped at the sights
this is where it all begins.
 
The heavens roared with thunder,
shaking my soul with its sound.
Looking up, I saw descend
a dove of light coming down.
 
The darkness stopped in mid-step,
my eyes cleared and I gained sight.
Angel from eternity
saved my soul from dark of night.
 
This story is fantasy,
but if you believe, there’s Hope
for you will walk the right path
and not the slippery slope.
