A lively day

Irish Green

On Irish Day we wear green.
There are some lively folk songs
That some people play or sing.
 
Corned beef and cabbage we eat.
There are parades, dancing too.
Cookies, a delicious treat.

People wear shamrocks, drink beer.
There are some fun parties held
With friends, neighbors who are dear.

There are games the children play
And Irish movies to see.
To some, an endless fun day.
