My Life journey

Figured It Out

by Raul1

Hey, me in the mirror,
each side can't ever be wrong,
I have been through a lot,
I am a writer now.

I made a lot of stupid mistakes
as a child in schools,
but I have learned from them,
I have sworn that I didn't do anything wrong.

I have jumped to conclusions
that I have been a jerk to all,
but I wasn't correct,
I always did the right thing.

I badly doubted myself that
my misjudgment made me not
think clearly,
I was and am always friendly to everyone.

I stuck with my thought
that I have solved all my problems.
It carried me to become a
phenomenal writer.

I was never a jerk,
it was my bad judgment
on myself to I was one,
I am a nice person.

My life is good now,
I am happy,
no one hated me,
I just needed a positive change,
my life is an optimistic one.

I have cured lots of people
in my WordPress site from
my self-help posts,
I have made a difference in this world.

I write effectively,
I compete in writing contests,
my belief is working as a writer
soon to be a novelist.

We both have been through a lot,
each other we look alike,
my world is the same as yours.
I am satisfied by being a writer and me.

I am thinking clear
that I always did the right thing,
and I have done nothing wrong.
No longer do I jump to conclusions about myself.
I have always been good.

It is all thanks to me
for all my hard work
towards becoming a writer and
a good friend.

My journey is paving off,
it is all thanks to my teachers,
I am continuing to improve to write,
and being an optimistic person.

Mirror, Mirror contest entry

My life was a hard one. I jumped to conclusions that I have always been a jerk, but my parents made me think clear that I was and am always a good person. I just needed to be convinced that I am a good person. My journey in life taught me to think for myself and become someone. The person I am is a writer towards becoming a novelist. I am an optimist.
