Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
The serpent

Evil

Since the beginning
He's been here
A trickster
A deviant
A liar
A thief

All things morally corrupt
Lead back to him
To the evil inside us all

Can we avoid
Sidestep
Runaway from
The truly ugly part of ourselves

The short answer is no

BUT

We have been given
Through sacrifice
A tool with which
We can be redeemed

We can fight the wickedness
Within
Destroy what foothold this
Serpent has on our soul

By Devotion
To HIS word
HIS Commandments

Pick up his words
Read them
Live them
Walk in grace

Allow your soul peace
AND
Evil is defeated

AMEN
