Serghei and Sasha are guarding the Russian and Ukraine's border. They used to be brothers, but now ended up on the wrong side of the line. They pretend to hate each other when are meeting other soldiers, but have their meeting point outside the surveillance cameras where they discuss freely the world politics. Serghei offers smokes to his Ukrainian friend. Sasha taking the smokes says: Spasiba bratok! Serghei: Sashenka, don't say that, we need to pretend we hate each other, so parugai menia! Sasha: Why should I say bad words to you? I am tired of this fake hate relationship, the only ones to blame for the escalation of this conflict are the media and that old Joe that thinks another war will give the American veterans something to live for! Serghei: Ti right! Now, if I think about it, they did the same in Iraq and Afghanistan. They pretended to care about democracy and human rights, and left behind poverty and disgrace! They don't understand our history and traditions. They will come here and start the war, and then leave us on our own devices! Sasha: Bratok, it will be another Kosovo! Padavai vodka! We will drink for the last time. Who knows if tomorrow will meet again. The curtain fades.
