Pandora!

My daughter's raised a cat for years,
Pandora is her name.
A calico, she's awful cute,
she likes to play cat games.

She loves to chase a Lazer light,
but never catches it.
And open boxes are her jam,
it's where she likes to sit.

She loves to take a shower,
she likes it when she's wet.
She hops in every time she can,
and soaked is what she gets.

She somehow opens doors with ease,
the fridge and cabinets.
Looking for some treats no doubt,
a few tasty tidbits.

She has a nickname, "Tootsie Pops",
she loves turkey and cheese.
Cat food's only passible,
she likes real food if you please.

Tootsie likes to climb on counters,
lay in the Christmas tree.
She snuggles with my daughter close,
as happy as can be.

She once belonged to someone else,
but long ago he left.
An accident, it took his life,
those left behind bereft.

Then she came to live with my daughter,
they comforted each other.
She's loved Pandora all these years,
they're loyal to each other.

Pandora is a loving cat,
she's old but she's still spry.
You'd never find a cuter cat,
no matter how you try.
