My wish that you come to me each night.

Wishful Dream

Close my eyes with hope in the dark of night
Wishing that you will come to my dream
This wanting always my desired scheme
Come, please engage me in loving flight
 
Whenever the night is without moonlight
Through my window nary a single beam
Close my eyes with hope in the dark of night
Wishing that you will come to my dream
 
If you come to my dream, I’ll glory in your sight
My heart will wing with sublime extreme
Our souls couple in my seamless scheme
We’ll fly together until the morning sunlight
Close my eyes with hope in the dark of night

This poem is the similar to the rondeau poem. The first and second lines repeat in the middle of the poem and at the end. Although only the first line repeats at the end. The rhyme scheme is normally ABba abAB abbaA(B). More information and an example.
