Just thinking too much

Idle Thoughts

Ever wonder why the sky is blue
            The grass is green -  most trees are too
 
 Me neither but that's probably okay
            There’s other thoughts to think today
 
I wonder how kangaroos found the ark
            Why do bats fly in the dark
 
How many fish are in the sea
          A lot of things bring wonder to me
 
Perhaps the answers are in a book
          Maybe someday I’ll take a look
