A Prayer of Thanks, Inspired

by Tina Crute

Dear Lord, I know it's wrong,
There's nothing here for which to long...
'cept what I keep in golden bins
I love my pens.

Having dozens is a treat.
Rich in ink, my life's complete.
They are the very best of friends...
I love my pens.

When morning comes, I wake to see
my pens are waiting there for me!
You've given me love that transcends,
But thank you, Lord...
I love my pens.

I was inspired by Robyn Corum's poem, "Another Prayer of Thanks?" to write my own fun prayer of thankfulness.
