Next March my girl will have a baby girl,
excited, first time I'll be called grandma!
The thought of her just sets my heart awhirl,
to think of little Hannah, I'm in awe.

So beautiful, like her mom, she will be.
Strong and gentle, a kind and loving heart.
I hope that she likes writing poems like me,
books and theater, musicals, and art.

Her mother brings such joy into my world,
of course, sometimes when younger, we would clash.
But as she grew, the gifts she has unfurled,
this honor R.N. grad, she made a splash.

I just can't wait to meet her little babe,
Sweet Hannah Rose, the name that she's picked out.
I'm positive about her I will rave,
for she will have my heart there is no doubt.

The world is full of wonders all around,
we only need to look and we will see.
In March a miracle will us, astound...
when Hannah joins our loving family.
