Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
I'm so pleased to have memories of childhood.

More than a Bank

by HarryT

I have a little piggy bank, had him since I was two
On both sides are Mary and her little lamb,
Near his head, a gray dog leaps red flower
On his backside, a lamb jumps a red flower also

For years, I push through the slot on his back
Pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters
And on rare occasions, a one-dollar bill
My pig bank has traveled with me through
Several housing moves, two marriages and
Thankfully, only one divorce

My little bank has been with me
For 78 of my 80 years, and now
We reside in probably our last home
Happy still to have my piggy bank
So pleased my daughter said he is the
One thing she wants when I am gone.
