Buried treasure.

He hides Himself

by royowen

He hides Himself

He hides Himself behind a cloud, quite deep within its mist.
A treasure found is not worthwhile, unless all pride's dismissed.
All partnerships are forged in part, in love's sweet sacrifice,
we need surrender ALL, not part, to pay love's worthy price.

If we let go of all we own then God can enter in,
for in return He'll give us all our sacrifice can win.
Yes, we were born to be His child and give up all we own,
"cause when we die we cannot keep what's merely just on loan.

For I will trust the Lord of love, who offered up His life,
I'm giving back my earthly wealth to save me from fate's knife.
Now you may think I've lost my mind to give up all my pride,
please don't assume that I am mad that God's now on my side.

God Hides Himself, not to be impossible to find, but to be found, all real treasure needs to be searched for, God wants sons and daughters as partners not slaves, or spoilt brats, we share in His labour.
In John 5:17 & 19Jesus said, I see what my Father does, and I do likewise, He is always working and I am always working.

The trouble with this life is anything we??????¢??ve gained will be useless when we face the day of reckoning, Naked we came into the world, and naked we leave it, don??????¢??t worry about the man who has everything, one day you??????¢??ll be equal. Without God we have nothing, it will be turned over to another.

Mark 6:35-38
For whosoever will save His life shall lose it;
but whosever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel??????¢??s,
the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?

Job 1:21
Job said, I was born with nothing and I will die with nothing.
The Lord gave, and now He is taking it away. May His name be praised.
