Wonder Years

intermittently —
little scientist watches plants'
leaves follow the warm sunlight
from one day to next
with innocent wonderment —
ahhh … to be a child again!



SEDOKA is a Japanese unrhymed poem made up of two three-line poems with the following syllable counts: 5/7/7, 5/7/7. A Sedoka pair may address the same subject from differing perspectives or separate topics. It's an old form. more information about Sedoka and Katauta
