Foolish, to try and squabble with troubles
you think were devious woes especially
deliberately destined to come only your way
futile to anticipate disaster without cause
it to be your worst dreads of days of all days

When they're really on your doorstep
or knocking at your window or door
that's the time to take heed, start to worry
then...not all along, or way, way before

Life has enough troubles and trials that
sooner or later, right or wrong, come our way
yet most of the things we dread or fear most
never come, good or bad, or change anything at all
if fears could kill, hard to even imagine, how
many there would be left alive, slayed by a
peril or demise, that never our way did arrive

Troubles in life and with life are part of life itself
best still, to at least they are real and have arrived
then and there, not now, all along or way before

Living proves.....
the heart, even from hardest of trials
gains the purest calm and solace of all
from lips that have tasted tears sorrows
the deeper will reign the triumph
before, during and after all else fails, falls
