Being a parent means loving someone
for life unconditionally.
To put them before yourself every time,
a great responsibility.

You'll never believe the love that you'll feel
when your child is in your arms.
With just one smile they'll capture your heart,
they'll dazzle you with all their charms.

You'll see the world in a different light,
when you look at it through their eyes.
Soon everything is exciting and new...
and more fun with them, no surprise.

And just when you think you can't love them more,
they'll look up at you and they'll say...
"I love you mommy", and your heart just melts.
You live to hear this everyday.

Being a parent is life's greatest gift,
I know, I've had five of my own.
They're all adults now and take care of me,
they're there so I'm never alone.
