It shouldn't come as a surprise
That every morning when I rise
I sail through each new day ignited with God's fire

When others ask me, tell me, please
How do you do it with such ease
I say, begin on bended knees and then soar higher

Let each and every morning be
Another opportunity
To love and teach and help until you can retire

For every person that you meet
Might just transcend his own defeat
