Music is a form of praise.
It helps us in many ways.
Sometimes songs can speak to you.
They can help ease your pain too.

There are some songs people play.
Songs can take your blues away.
It can open up your heart
And help friends when they're apart.

Some songs can answer your prayers.
It can let you know God cares.
Music wants to soothe a child.
And some songs are soft and mild.

Songs can be upbeat or slow.
There are many songs I know.
I love hymns, country songs too.
What does music mean to you?

Music brings me joy, you see.
Some kids sing when they are three.
To some, music is just noise.
Sometimes music comes from toys.
